 Online Processing of Building Applications

Current document management systems have made it easier to scan from paper, store it electronically, and then retrieve and print information for standard document formats and file sizes.

But what happens when you want to access information that comes in a difficult file format, is too large, or complex in its dimensions and graphics?

At the moment, these files are left in their paper filing system, which means you are still having to juggle with numerous methods of filing and retrieval. Not actually saving you time, or money, which was the original intention for having a document management system in the first place.

Redman Solutions work with Trapeze, giving  you the ability to browse, view, retrieve and manipulate these documents over the internet, as if they were paper in your hands.

So what does Trapeze provide for Planners and Engineers that deal with complex plans and documents?  The ability to efficiently work with electronic plans. Trapeze Plan Manager allows you to verify plans, apply and manage relevant stamps, make annotations, measure and even overlay one image onto another (Light Box functionality). Dynamic WorkFlow is here....BizFlow BPM

In the past implementing structured business processes into an organisation failed to look at the email black hole. What happened when someone broke out of a structured processed to do some dynamic tasks using email? Their tasks are no longer linked to the process and there is no central view or way of aligning and tracking progress.

Enter BizFlow Office Engine. This provides the flexibility of email with the visibility and control of BPM.

TRIM users enjoy simpler way to scan and capture!

A tightly integrated batch scanning system that lets users simply and quickly scan, view and file documents as they work. They can QA batches of documents, make changes on the fl y, and

save these individually or in batches using separator sheets. It is designed for a high use, scanning environment where zones of OCR and barcode information are automatically read and placed into TRIM fields.

Storage in the Cloud

The "web services" revolution - online IT services that were once housed in a "server in the basement" - is tipped to be one of the biggest growth areas in technology in 2008.

Moonwalk helps companies with large amounts of data move it transparently among their diverse fleet of storage devices, across disparate platforms.

The moves ensure that files that are seldom needed or accessed, but which must be preserved, are stored on older, cheaper-to-operate machines.

The technique, known as "tiering", saves space on a company's fast and expensive storage arrays.

Moonwalk's innovation is to use Amazon as one of those tiers. Users can access on-demand storage hosted by Amazon.com and free their business from the need to buy more storage equipment or adopt techniques such as data de-duplication. Amazon Web Services includes the Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), which allows anyone to rent storage from as little as 15 US cents a gigabyte per month, well below the cost to business of operating their own storage equipment.

Moonwalk certainly continues to challenge the storage “status quo”. They are the first commercial software package to offer the ability to back up directly to Amazon's servers.
