WEBINAR SLIDES

At the end of 2017, Redman Solutions established a new partnership with CivicPlus®. We're excited to be able to offer clients in Australia a website design and hosting solution that is specifically built for local government.

Since establishing our partnership with CivicPlus, we've learnt a lot about the challenges and opportunities that council teams face when providing information, news, resources and services to their community via their website.

One such challenge is ensuring your council website is accessibly designed. This is something that both Redman Solutions and CivicPlus are passionate about and the webinar we have co-produced is specifically tailored to help teams in local government deliver equitable access to information to everyone in their community.

Accessible Website Design

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, over 4 million people in the Australia are living with a disability. The first step to ensuring compliance is to evaluate your website using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), an international standard that is backed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
